About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our internally developed AI platform, written primarily in TypeScript/Node.JS and hosted entirely on AWS serverless infrastructure. This role requires a deep technical understanding of both front-end and back-end development, combined with a robust knowledge of various AWS services and AI/ML integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance our internal AI platform to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

  • Develop in TypeScript/Node.JS to add new features, address backlog, and maintain unit/integration tests.

  • Leverage AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, Elasticache (Redis), and Fargate-ized applications.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.

  • Integrate automated builds, tests, and deployment processes into the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Integrate AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI services to expand the platform's AI capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the AI platform.

  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the platform.

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest ways to improve the platform.

  • Proven experience in gathering and translating requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on TypeScript , Node.JS, and frontend frameworks such as Vuej.js

  • Deep expertise in AWS serverless infrastructure and services, including DynamoDB, S3, Elasticache (Redis), Fargate, and others.

  • Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI services.

  • Proven ability to design and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance web applications and REST APIs.

  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or similar.

  • Familiarity with other programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.

  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular

  • Experience with other cloud services and platforms.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $125,700.00-$182,250.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
