ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a driven and seasoned sales professional with a passion for data products? Join our dynamic team as a DaaP and API Account Executive! We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to spearhead the sales of our cutting-edge data solutions, including Spectra Analytics and other Data as a Product (DaaP) offerings available via our API. This position is a perfect complement to our existing Enterprise sales team, focusing on key customer segments that leverage our DaaP and API offerings. Additionally, you'll play a strategic role in cross-functional sales efforts targeting potential ELM customers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR DaaP AND API ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE:

Drive Growth - Surpass sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding our presence in existing accounts.

Strategic Product Planning - Utilize a disciplined and analytical approach to manage a portfolio of use cases, effectively positioning our DaaP and API solutions. Keep the sales pipeline updated and provide strategic feedback on pricing and positioning.

Sales Strategies - Craft and execute detailed account plans to maximize revenue growth for new products. Develop and leverage relationships within existing accounts and new customer accounts to drive strategic initiatives.

Creative Marketing and Prospecting - Innovate to cultivate awareness of the Altium vision. Plan and execute targeted campaigns for key customer segments.

Customer Acumen - Gain a deep understanding of each customer's strategic use case, growth plans, technology infrastructure, internal challenges, and competitive landscape.

Advance and Close Sales Opportunities - Successfully execute the sales strategy and roadmap to close deals.

Net New Revenue, Adoption, and Conversion - Achieve new business revenue goals while working closely with our Enterprise and support organizations to ensure effective sales collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Sales and Account Management: Engage and manage key customer segments. Actively manage sales pipeline, identify growth opportunities, and ensure robust sales enablement and customer support.
  • Sales Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Enterprise sales team to position, quote, and win DaaP and API deals. Provide expert advisory services for enterprise-level data opportunities.
  • ELM Opportunity Advisory: Leverage your expertise to support the Enterprise sales team in positioning and securing ELM deals, enhancing the overall sales strategy with your product and process knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in data products or similar fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of the PCB design and the electronic component industry, encompassing PLM, ERP/MRP sectors, and business intelligence.
  • Experience working with consultants and institutional investors is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Enterprise sales team and provide strategic advice.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset.

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$170,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
