Reporting directly to the Sr. Director Operations, the Supply Chain leader manages all aspects of supply chain planning, procurement inclusive of category management and purchasing, materials and stock room, and shipping and receiving. This position will work closely with the Division leadership team to ensure customer and business requirements are met, ensuring best practices are shared and implemented.


Responsibilities

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership and accountability of the Supply Chain teams, processes and performance, including strategic planning, procurement and tactical operations.
  • Develop and execute supplier management strategies across direct and indirect spend to ensure on-time delivery of parts with highest quality and lowest cost.
  • Mature and support SIOP process to improve strategic planning of working capital, utilization of factory resources, and drive integrated executive alignment to improve customer satisfaction, market share, and profit.
  • Improve financial performance by improving working capital and P&L costs to meet plan and develop an understanding of the drivers of material cost as a percentage of revenue with an associated reduction plan. Develop new means to reduce purchased material and services costs while maintaining business objectives.
  • Establish long term strategic supplier partnerships that support the future need of our customers and drive innovation and production efficiencies.
  • Implement and improve performance management and savings pipeline, establishing a high performing team.
  • Utilize analytic methods to analyze performance issues to identify causal relationship underlying supply chain performance and provide actionable insight.
  • Ensure that all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards are implemented and followed throughout the Supply Chain teams.
  • Ability to lead a diverse workforce and provide an amiable, positive, and progressive work environment.
  • Develop successors for organizational positions and work with local management to ensure a robust talent pipeline and career pathing, while proactively addressing capabilities of the strategic talent pool.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Six (6)+ years' experience in Supply Chain leading people.
  • Experience with use of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, FAR, DFARS, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve positive results through influence, negotiation and change management.
  • Ability to develop sound relationships in internal and external customer organizations.
  • Effective communicator both orally and in writing.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Preferred:

  • Ten (10)+ years of experience.
  • Masters' Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leadership ability to motivate and inspire teams to perform at a high level; demonstrated commitment to accountability and trust.
  • Fully computer literate including Excel & PowerPoint at Intermediate level.
  • High degree of problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments with strong customer orientation.

Salary Range: $137,574 - $237,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
