The LE Training Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling to provide basic, in-service, and career development training for the Piedmont Correctional Institute (PCI) Consortium group and Rowan and Cabarrus County Community Corrections. The consortium consists of PCI, Davidson Correctional Center, and Forsyth Correctional Center. This position is a permanent part-time position, and the coordinator can work up to 25 hours per week.
Required Education/Experience:
- Two-Year Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and training.
- Current Criminal Justice General Instructor Certification.
- Five years of full-time work experience as a Law Enforcement or Corrections Officer.
- Five years of teaching experience in N.C. Commission Mandated Courses.
- Possess or willing to complete Department of Adult Corrections (DAC) instructor training.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
